Narrow-gauge railway

The route of this oldest operating narrow-gauge railway in the world joins Bytom and Miasteczko Śląskie and is 21 km long. During the journey lasting 70 minutes the train stops at 10 stations.
In Bytom, it passes e.g. Szombierki Heat Power Station, locomotive shed in Karb (where you can see historical steam engines and narrow-gauge carriages, including the so-called chair car dating back to 1912 with original fit-out) and a former quarry in Blachówka. In Tarnowskie Góry, it goes by the Historical Silver Mine. The train is an artefact on the Route of Industrial Heritage in the Voivodeship of Silesia. The timetables can be found on the website of the Association of Upper Silesian Narrow-Gauge Railways: https://sgkw.eu/
